SANSA 2024 BURSARIES

South Africa needs an increase in science and engineering graduates if we are to effectively resource the country with the necessary and scarce skills to achieve the goals of the National Development Plan and ensure a successful and sustainable future for our citizens. SANSA provides post-graduate degree bursaries to contribute to the national target for qualified post-graduates in science and engineering.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Applications are open for the Girls Fly Africa skills development programme.

The programme includes

  • Personal and professional development workshops (Hybrid)
  • Professional mentor/coach (Hybrid)
  • SACAA accredited rating (Ground school, flights, DFE exams, and books)
  • Job prep workshops

Eligibility

  • Unemployed Youth (Under 35)
  • Valid, relevant flying license (Valid for the next 6 months)
  • Current relevant medical certificate (Valid for the next 6 months)
  • Preference will be given to candidates that have never received any financial support from GFA

  • One-page CV (include the following information)
    • Indicate the rating you are applying for
    • The expiry date of your license and medical
    • Your date of birth
    • Contact details of two referees
  • Motivation essay (not more than 500 words) on your aviation journey and plans for the future.
